Terms

Last updated October 4, 2026

These terms cover the VoltIQ app (on the web, iPhone and Android) and this website. Using VoltIQ means you agree to them.

Results are a check, not a stamp

Each calculator works from the numbers you enter and the limits built into it. Every Printout says it on the sheet: For field coordination. Not a stamped engineering document.

Before you rely on a result, check it against the governing standard, the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and the manufacturer's spec for what you're installing. Where they disagree with VoltIQ, they win.

Standards are cited, not reproduced

VoltIQ cites standards by designation (TIA-568, for example). It doesn't reproduce their text or tables. For the wording, get the standard from its publisher.

Free stays free

The calculators, the Printout, the guides and the checklists are free, and what's free stays free.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload or probe the site or the app, or reach parts of them that aren't meant for you.

No warranty

VoltIQ is provided as it is. We don't promise it's free of errors, always available, or right for a particular job. Features can change or stop.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, VoltIQ and the people behind it aren't liable for losses that come from using the app or relying on its results or answers, including rework, delays, failed inspections, damage or lost profit. You're responsible for your work and for how you check it.

Changes

We may change the app and these terms. When the terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Using VoltIQ after a change means you accept the new terms.
